Celano



Celano is one of the most famous villages in Marsica, thanks in part to the presence of the mighty Piccolomini Castle. Rising on a hill 800 meters above sea level, it offers magnificent views toward the Fucino Plain and the surrounding mountains. It is 13.1 km from Avezzano and 49.3 km from L'Aquila.

It is 5 km from the Aielli-Celano A24 (Autostrada dei Parchi) highway exit and is easily accessible from Rome (about 1 1/2 hours) and the main airports of Rome and Pescara.

SAN POTITO



The village is located at 1094 meters on the slopes of the Magnola Mountains on a hill dominated by Pizzo di Ovindoli (1181 meters). In the territory below in the localities of Piano dei Santi, Colle Bernardo and Pago there are sites of archaeological interest such as the remains of the Roman villa from the imperial era. The territory of San Potito falls within the area of the Sirente-Velino regional natural park.


It is located 10 km from the Aielli-Celano highway exit on the A25/E80 (Autostrada dei Parchi) easily accessible from Rome (about 1 1/2 hours) and the main airports of Rome and Pescara.

Ovindoli



A small village perched at 1375 meters above sea level, Ovindoli is actually known thanks to the presence of Mount Magnola, an important tourist center that attracts visitors both in winter, for its state-of-the-art ski facilities with artificial snow and snow park, and in summer.

Ovindoli is a town that lies within the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park, in the so-called "Altopiano delle Rocche," an area surrounded almost entirely by the Apennine mountains.

The town, thanks to its natural heritage, attracts tourists not only in winter but also in summer thanks to the numerous hiking and biking routes and trails.
